Lovelace was such a sad film, but such an important one. I loved that it was about pornography, but avoided as many pornographic scenes as it could in the film itself. Also, the chronology of the film was so clever, making you believe one thing in the start, before convincing you of something else later on, much like how the public saw Linda Lovelace’s story unfold. As far as I can tell, (although I haven’t done extensive research) the story seems to be fairly close to the truth. Many of the interviews seem to match word for word to what really happened. I would definitely recommend this film, but be prepared, as it is not a lighthearted choice.
